  • A sensor is plugging on the left rear wheel which continuously monitors sideways movement and also detect the car’s position relative to the 3-D map.
  • The RADAR systems is plugged in the front and rear bumpers which calculate distances from obstacles.
  • The AI which stands for Artificial Intelligence continuously simulates human perceptual and human decision-making processes and it controls an actions in driver-control systems such as steering and brakes.
  • The driverless car can have a software which consults Google Maps for advance notice of things like landmarks, traffic signs and other lights.

    With the help of all these systems based on driverless cars say they would decrease accidents which is caused by driver error and this is currently cause of almost all the traffic accidents and here the greater precision of an automatic system would an improve the traffic flow and also increase highway capacity and decrease or you can say that eliminate traffic jams.
